After completing Master of Communication and Media Studies in 2013 (MCMS) at St. Aloysius College, Mangaluru, launched herself in one of the reputed News Channel of coastal Karnataka“Spandana TV’, as a news presenter, program host, and AV Editor. 

After gaining an optimum amount of practical exposure in the media field, she started her career as a journalism faculty (2014) at PG Journalism department of Alva’s college, Moodubidirw where she taught various varied mass communication subjects and was also the Convener and Faculty coordinator of Media Buzz State Level Media Fest of the department.

She played a phenomenal role in initiating and honing students as a bulletin producer of ‘Alva’s News Time’, a weekly news bulletin of the department.  Her constant support and guidance for students in production related activities like editing, scripting, anchoring, voice over and photography proved in students’ production many times. 

Tech-savvy Miss Devishree Shetty, blessed with solid knowledge of software applications like InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, QuirkExpress, Adobe Premier Pro and FCP. More than that, she involved herself in research activities and presented many papers in national and international seminars. She cleared Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) in 2014 and qualified for lectureship in Karnataka.  Equipping herself with solid media and teaching wisdom, now she is happy to be part of her Alma mater as a faculty in the department of Mass Communication & Journalism(2019).
